The China International Sesame Conference 2022, hosted by CCCFNA, was held in Qingdao, China on the 22nd of August.
ETG was one of the sponsors of the event and had an opportunity to discuss international sesame trade with officials from government departments; embassy representatives and consulates; and industry experts. The participants analyzed the complicated changing political and economic situation of the international sesame market this year and exchanged various scenarios pertaining to the future of the sesame industry.
Mr. Tarun Chawla – Head of Sesame & Peanut of ETG, was invited as a speaker at the conference and participated virtually. He shared an overview of global sesame production, stock, supply & demand, and outlook on the sesame trade.
