Global consumption is in the form of ingredients in baked goods or as snacks, whether roasted or simply blanched. In the west, use in the form of peanut-butter has been rising rapidly while countries like China, Indonesia and Philippines consume it as peanut paste with noodles or as a condiment with hot-pot.
