We procure a variety of commodities from Chinese suppliers, aggregators, and farmers. As part of the supply chain team, it would be your responsibility to ensure timely and up-to-spec delivery of commodities.
Traders work with procurement teams in our origins, finance teams across geographic and product lines and trade execution teams to make sure that our customers receive the right quality and quantity, delivered at the right time. A strong work ethic, quantitative acuity and deft stakeholder management are key skills required in a trader.
Our factory in Tianjin represents a sizeable investment for the group and is a key part of our business setup in China. While our major product in the factory is processed sesame, we are expanding our capabilities to support our other commodities. You could be part of the quality, production, planning or the various support teams at our factory.
Our trade execution team are who keep the containers flowing. In global trade where a single misplaced document can be worth millions, nothing is quite as important as the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of documents. Rigorous attention to detail and ability to manage rapidly evolving situations.
ETG China works with a variety of distributors for the sale of our processed sesame seeds in the wholesale segment. With the impending addition of new products and ingredients, we need to strengthen our existing network and onboard more distribution partners. Responsibilities in this function would include relationship management, coordination with local sales head and production teams and managing distributor advances and credits.
Our focus, across the group, is to use our global reach to provide localized solutions. The success of this endeavour is driven almost entirely by recruiting brilliant local talent and giving them all the tools to succeed because their success is our success.
