The world has been severely impacted by COVID-19, with the long road to economic recovery commencing in 2021. With an aim to promote positive development in the international sesame industry, CFNA hosted China International Sesame Conference 2021 (spring) on the 16th April in Qingdao, China.
ETG attended the conference and engaged with a variety of International sesame traders and experts, government departments, representatives of embassies and consulates.
Tarun Chawla, ETG China's Business Head - pulse, sesame & peanut, was invited to participate as a speaker at the conference via online platform. He shared insights into sesame price trend, global production supply and demand and ETG's outlook on the Sesame Industry.
Jane Zeng, Chief Commercial Officer of ETG China sesame business, accompanied representatives from the Ethiopian Embassy who attended the conference to the port where she showcased operations and shared inputs on the China sesame market.
